Position Summary:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to dry and wet mopping surfaces, high and low dusting, vacuuming, scrubbing, stripping, refinishing floors, carpet cleaning/extraction, cleaning walls, lights, vents, elevators, escalators, polishing, gum removal from surfaces, power washing, windows, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors.

Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.

Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork.

Washes windows, door panels, and sills.

Transports trash, waste and recyclable materials to disposal area.

Transports small equipment or tools between departments.

Team member communicates responsibly and effectively by radio to answer service calls and to make service calls to other departments.

Responding to and handling biohazard calls

Ability to operate various floor care equipment and maintain equipment.

Maintains a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention, performing all job duties in the safest possible manner, and immediately notifying the supervisor and completing an accident report if an accident/incident does occur while performing work related duties to a guest or self.

Proper use of chemicals, including dispensing, labeling and following chemical guidelines.

Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays

Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing

Minimum of one year experience working in environmental services

Ability to work with a variety of hand and power tools.

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Positive communication skills, mannerism, and high energy

Ability to communicate with Team members and guests

Ability to be a TEAM player

Ability to work in a smoking and non smoking environment

Ability to operate powered equipment, including riding floor machines

Physical and Mental Demands

Must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Frequently required to stoop, crouch or kneel.

Ability to interact with others while maintaining a courteous and positive demeanor.

Regularly required to walk, see; use of hands and fingers, ability to feel and reach with hands and arms.

Ability to work in a smoking and non-smoking environment
